Zanskar is one least explored destination of the Union Territory of Ladakh. It is one of the most beautiful mountainous civilizations in Northern India. The headquarters of Zanskar is Padum town where one will find little shops and most of the tourist accommodations of the valley. Zanskar is a sparsely populated region scattered across tiny hamlets. The region is Popular among adventure lovers and backpackers and has a lot more to offer for its visitors. In winter the river which flows through the valley completely freezes and people walk on the frozen river which is popularly known as Chadar Trek. In summer the same is known for rafting expeditions. Once the popular 22 days Lamayuru to Darcha trek goes from the Zanskar region which is considered to be the toughest trek in the Indian Himalaya. Being known for its cold and harsh winter the semi-arid snowbound region of Himalaya is also known for the centuries old living monasteries of Tibetan Buddhism. Some of the popular monasteries in Zanskar are Fuktal Monastery, Sani Monastery, Karsha Monastery, Stongdey Monastery and Bardan Monastery. Zanskar can be reached via Shinkula pass from the Darcha, Himachal Pradesh, Penzila from Kargil and through an alternate route from Singeela.•.

* 50% of the payment should be transferred at the time of booking
the trip & balance to be paid 15 days before the tour starts.
* Ladakh Tales holds no responsibility for road blocks or flight cancelled or any unforeseen situation happening on tour.
* Child between 5 – 8 yrs will be considered under without bed charges (no bed / extra mattress will be provided) and child above 8 yrs will be considered as extra bed (extra mattress will be provided)
Cancellation & Refund Policy :
* 25% of the total tour cost will be charged if cancelled 15 days before the tour departure date.
* 50% cancellation charges if cancelled 10 days before the tour departure date.
* No cancellation refund will be made if cancelled before 9 days to departure date.
* No refund will be made once the tour starts.
